With the KM 35/5 C Kärcher offers a battery driven micro sweeper wich is designed for sweeping smaller hard surfaces and carpets. With this machine daily cleaning tasks are much more comfortable and up to three times faster than with broom and dustpan. The compact machine is mostly used in the gastronomy and hotel sector, retail industry, handcraft as well as nursery, janitors and service providers.

A powerful lithium-ion battery (1,3 Ah) drives the roller brush-also when the machine is not moved. This is mainly is corners advantageous. Due to cordless working there is practically no get-ready time. The working time is 20 to 25 minutes; the charging status can be read off an LED display. As there is no more "memory effect" with this battery technology, intermediate charging is possible anytime without damaging the cells.

The 350 mm wide roller brush with crooked bristles assures an outstanding cleaning result and works close to edges up to 3 mm. The machine collects loosy dirt like cigarettes, leaves, terra, stones and boken glass pieces. An automatic switch-off function protects the drive unit in case of overload when an item wich is too big blocks the roller brush.

An important aspect in development was the ease of use. The machine can be switched on and off with a foot switch so there is no use for bending down. Driven on four wheels the machine is easy to use indoor and outdoor e.g. between chairs or in entry areas. The compact machine weights only 5,6 kg so it can be carried easily to different locations. The 5 l dirt container allows long working intervals. The handle with grip is foldable and allows good and easy handling of the machine. With an entire height of only 19 cm you can sweep under shelves and hard-to-reach areas. In working pauses the handle can be caught in upright storage position. Roller brush and battery can be changed very quickly without any tools. Optional there is a quick charger available wich shortens the charging time for 3 hours to only 1 hour. For cleaning textile floors there is an antistatic roller brush available.

The KM 35/5 C is designed for quick clean-ups and maintenance cleaning of smaller hard surfaces. It is a convenient, effective, and a quick alternative to conventional sweeping with a broom and dustpan. The compact dimensions and the low weight allow an easy handling also in narrow passages or between hurdles.
